Craigengelt is the home of the Bien Esk Fold located in Central Scotland at 700-1400ft.

1000 plus acres of hill pasture, abundance of wild life, particularly Black Grouse which has flourished under our ownership.

Craigengelt is the premier Black Grouse site in Southern Scotland according to the RSPB.   This we have achieved without Grants, schemes, or Land Management Contracts (just the help of the Highlanders).   The annual rainfall is 1.529mm per year and the climate can be harsh.

Our aim is to produce beautiful, easy handled Female Cattle and Bullocks with the ability to finish early (for a Highlander) and attain the correct carcuss grade at slaughter.   All our Bullocks are sold to Marks & Spencer through Scotbeef.   Craigengelt is passed for Marks & Spencer's Select Farms as a supplier of "Beef" with high standards as stated in our last Select Farm Audit.

We often have young quality quiet stock for sale which are privately tested for IBR.BVD.LEPTO & JOHNES
